Merry Christmas from home of the Riley's!

I love Christmas....but who doesn't....well there are a few. I can't not tell you how becoming a mother has helped me to fully understand the Christmas story more. In this past year I have learned more about my older brother Jesus and his direct hand in my life every day and during trails. I wish sometimes that I could remember that everyday. I have to say that I love music and during this time of year, Christmas music and sign of the season. Here are a few of my favorites; music, pictures and our life this season!
I rememeber when I first saw this picture in high school. I cried, it spoke to my soul very strong. I felt I was looking at the Savor for the first time. It has helped me through some hard times.

I love the Christmas tree and I thought I would share our tree with you. Anyone that knows me knows that I love butterflies and I can't believe I found beautiful Christmas butterflies to put on my tree. Thank heavens for Tia Pan Trading!

This just reminds me of the joy of Santa and the Christmas season, My mother-in-law bought it My man and I first year married so this is very special to me.

*This is how it looks from our house no one complain, I can't even walk out my door with normal shoes or drive anywhere~

Mj was sick throwing up from 2:30am until 8am this morning. What a wonderful night I hope we've seen the last of it. I can only wash so many blanket...and pj's. Thank heavens for 'Pedilite'.
By the way my daughter favorite toy is a doll she calls "Daddy"(to the right above). Yes, this toy is an adult man doll that was given to me from My Man on Valentines Day. He is called "The Perfect Man" and he says all sorts of really crazy things like "Honey, I left some cash for you to go shopping with the girls today" and "Sure honey lets spend the holidays with your family again this year!" Hilarious, I know. She has always played with him more then any other toy and carries him everywhere. It's hard to explain at the Walmart Check out

My Mans 30th Birthday

Ok it was my man's thirtieth Birthday the first week of November and I have to say he is one of the single most annoying person to buy for. I can say this now because I have been married to him for over a decade and every time gift giving comes around for him I get the So here is the deal, I am not complaining about how wonderful the reason is but it is still annoying. He NEVER wants anything......he is not the type that looks at things and says I would like that or that looks fun or man if only I had this I could do this with it. To be fair he does this on a occassion....on items that are $500 and up. The thing is I would save for these things but he changes his mind about what he wants monthly ....oh I don't really like that ....or I want it but I wouldn't pay all that money for it. So, he got movies and a robe with farting toilet from Mj HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOV.

Our 2008 Spring Show "Seven Nasty Princesses" by Edith Weiss

Here is some pictures from our CBTA Spring Show performed in June. We had a lot of fun getting the students ready for this play. We had 42 performers and over 275 audience members both night we performed the cute play. Thanks to all that made it possible without all the volunteers the school wouldn't have had such a great experience. It takes many hands to put together these types of performances. Jamie and I have had such a great time working with our students. Some of them have grown leaps and bounds since they began. We hope they know how much we hope the best for them as they continue to follow their dreams. They even coherst me into being in this performance!! Like I didn't have enough to least I could work on my kackle! The Next show will be "Peter and the Wolf" in December.

Our trip to Washington

It is very relaxing in Washington. We had lots of fun hanging out with my mans parents house next to the Columbia River!! Yes, we went and saw the famous lazer light show from my mans childhood and went swimming in the Columbia River too! We pretty much just rested from the long drive to get there in his dad's new house. Later that week we went to 'Silverwood' in Coeur D alene, Idaho. Its a fun little amusement park with roller coasters and an amazing water park. Danny drove most they way what a guy! Anyways, I am a little late in posting this pictures of this summer trip. Life is way to fast lately for any amount of keeping up.

True bliss!! I have never captured this amount of true happiness any any picture EVER!

2008 CF Transplant Yardsale for Jamie!

So we did a yard sale in July for Jamie's transplant expenses at my house. We did really good but it was super hot. We started on a Friday and then on Saturday our neighbors where doing one too so we drew crowds in that why.
Jamie is hard a work on the numbers for the yard costs their family $2500 to go to Pittsburgh every two months. They have to stay there for one to two weeks and she has to have a care taker go with her. So it really expensive on their little family. She found out she is doing really great and her oxygen stats are at 98% from 15% before the transplant!!
Mj found this funny hat and no more then I few minutes later she was carring around a gun with it. What a real USA baby huh. I had a hard laugh over it. She makes me laugh all the time.

Memories from friends and loved ones....

"Leave a Memory"
Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Our Barney Reunion at Bone, Idaho

We loved seeing all our cousins and family!
Jamie and I did the craft this year again. We did clocks and vinyl candles and wood sayings
I peeled so many vinyl Hawaiian Flowers for two days before the reunion, I was glad to see the craft a success. Jamie gave the best testimony about her transplant and her miracle I was so emotional. I was so glad that I was there to hear it.
Darren loves to fly fish with Zac and I love to ....see all my family I haven't seen forever.

At Mount Rushmore!!

Ok so I am so sorry that I have not posted for at least a month.I have some pictures on the way from the big show we did at the school and from my stay in Virginia Beach. Our camera card froze up and now I have to get some program to retrieve the images. Yah...I thought the same thing"What the....they can freeze up?" Be aware they can and they do so always download your picture. Anyways, we went to a National Monument for the 3rd of July because thats when they were having there fireworks show. We showed up 6 Hours before the show was suppose to began and let me just tell you, if you are ever thinking of doing this...
don't...just go with your gut feeling of 'Theres probably going to be allot of people, don't you think honey, we might not get a seat and have to be in traffic for hours on end" guessed it we sat pretty much in the last place possible, got yelled at by a "National Forest Ranger" for seating somewhere I guess we not suppose to be and you remember the expression, 'I walked both ways up hill in 12 ft of snow' minus the snow and add a stroller to that and you have our 2 1/2 mile hike up hill pushing Mj!! Yes I believe that my calf's grew in size that day along with a ever piercing feeling in my gloots. Thank heavens for my Man he did most the work! Well the Fireworks were pretty and we had a blast with Tori and Todd and their lit'l family. We even got to travel with them . Over all the experience was something to laugh over but I am not sure I will EVER plan a holiday trip to a National Monument....ever again.

I do have to share a picture I took of our little social butterfly at work. This is an older couple that Mj befriended while we sat waiting for the fireworks to start. She played with everyone along this strip of the crowd. We all laughed until we cried because after she had played with them for a few she came over and exclaimed.."Mommie, I found Grandma and Grandpa!"
Not only is she like a little puppy when it comes to loving people ....
she is also like a puppy over food. You'd think I starve the poor thing the way she begs from other people. You know that look that a dog gives you when they are sitting by you and they want what you have but they don't want you to know they do. She did that to anyone that was eating something. We laughed because I had just got done feeding her KFC chicken and two salads. At one moment I looked over and she was eating from a bag of sun chips that I know I didn't bring. She had took it from the neighboring group and was just munching away!
I'll save the beverage thing for another day......

At Bush Garderns

Mj and Daddy rode alot of rides together. It was so cute to see her get so excited to
ride on each one. Daddy I think was just as excited to ride along with her.

Me and lit'l the crazy head. She is a hoot. I can not believe how she has no boundaries with
people. She reminds about how we should be more happy and inviting to everyone
around us. She will just say "hi" and "bye" to about every person we sit or walk by.

Sleepy head
